Find out if a physician-assisted weight loss plan could help you lose weight.

In an ideal world, we would eat healthily and exercise regularly and all have the bodies we want. Unfortunately, it isn’t always that simple. If Weight Lossyou are having trouble losing weight on your own terms then it might be time to turn to our Houston physician Dr. Babak Rejaie. Here in our office, we offer the HCG program to help aid your weight loss.

It’s our goal as your Houston doctor to provide you with the accurate information you need to help you finally lose that stubborn weight and maintain a healthier lifestyle for the future. Many reasons people fail on diet programs is that they don’t have a professional who will monitor their progress, hold them accountable and provide them with valuable information about nutrition and how to eat healthier. This is where we come in.

What is the HCG program?

The theory behind this weight loss program is that the HCG hormone, the same hormone found in pregnant women, stimulates the body to get rid of fat while also providing the body with the nutrients it needs despite a low caloric diet. It’s even believed that this same hormone can stave off cravings and pangs of hunger while reducing fatigue associated with dieting. This is an important part of this program because many people who stick to diets often fail due to hunger and cravings.

How does the HCG program work?

We provide 26- or 43-day programs that are accompanied by prepared meals created by Perfect Fit Meals, which adhere to the rules of the HCG program. Since this program restricts your daily caloric intake (less than 800kcal/day) it’s important to make sure that this program is safe for you before you begin. This means coming in for a thorough physical exam and blood tests. This entire weight loss program is conducted under the supervision of our medical team so it’s done safely and effectively.

If you are having difficulty losing weight on your own then it’s time to turn to a medical professional who can help. Call Memorial Weight Loss Clinic in Houston today to schedule a consultation with our very own Dr. Rejaie to find out how we can assist you in your weight loss journey.

Find out how our Houston physician can help you finally shed those pounds.

Losing weight isn’t always as easy as eating healthy and exercising regularly. In some cases, you may not be seeing the results you want despite leading a healthier lifestyle. While this shouldn’t mean that you should chuck your healthier attitude and habits right out the window, it does mean that it might be time to turn to our Houston, TX, physician Dr. Babak Rejaie to find out if the HCG Program could help you get the results you want.

What is the HCG Program?

This weight loss program is based off the belief that the human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) hormone, a hormone naturally occurring within pregnant women, could help get rid of stored fat and restart your metabolism. In some cases, HCG may even help stave off hunger and cravings that many people who are dieting experience.

What is involved in the HCG Program?

Here at Memorial Weight Loss Clinic in Houston, we offer HCG Programs that are for 23 days and 46 days. With this program, we are also working with Perfect Fit Meals to provide you with tailor-made meals that adhere to the program’s dietary restrictions.

Everything about your weight loss journey is led by our physician, so not only will you be in safe hands the whole time but there will be some accountability to sticking with your new diet routine. Plus, we will be educating you about which foods are healthy and which foods aren’t, providing you with the knowledge you need to maintain healthy eating habits for the future (something many diet programs don’t offer).

Before undergoing an HCG program we will need to make sure that you are healthy enough for a low-calorie diet. We will go through your detailed medical history, conduct a thorough physical exam and run blood tests.

There are several phases within the HCG program. At the very beginning, you will follow a very low-calorie diet, which includes about 500 calories a day. Over time, you will move into another phase of the diet, the stabilization phase, in which your daily caloric intake may increase anywhere from 800 to 1600 calories a day. The stabilization phase usually occurs after your weight loss and will be less restrictive, allowing you to incorporate more healthy food options into your diet. Patients reported losing about 0.5 to 1 pound a day in the beginning phase of the HCG diet.

Along with this restricted diet, you will also be getting HCG drops or HCG injections, which will help to target and reduce fat while sustaining the muscle.

If you are interested in what the HCG program might be able to do for you then call the medical experts at Memorial Weight Loss Clinic in Houston, TX. We would be happy to sit down with you and determine whether you are an ideal candidate for this weight loss program.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), over 90 million American adults struggle with obesity and the resulting health issues, which typically range from cardiovascular disease and stroke, to diabetes and an increased risk of certain types of cancer. Factoring in adults that are overweight (not obese), the CDC estimates that approximately 70% of American adults are over their ideal weight.
