Find out how you can shed the pounds and gain the body you want with our help.weight loss

While they say that most people can lose weight with simple diet and exercise, most people also realize that it often takes a whole lot more than that sometimes. There are so many factors that can cause people to become overweight or deal with stubborn body fat. This is why our Houston, TX, physician Dr. Babak Rejaie is proud to offer the HCG program, which has helped countless people finally see the results they want.

What exactly is the HCG program?

This weight loss program follows a low-calorie diet that, along with HCG hormone injections or medication, can help you successfully lose the weight you want. During the first 8 weeks of your HCG program, you will only consume about 500 calories a day while also taking your dose of HCG.

Why HCG? While most people hear HCG and think of pregnant women, this same hormone may also help destroy those excess fat cells while preventing you from feeling hungry throughout the day from your limited caloric intake.

What will I eat on this plan?

Our Houston doctor will be able to give you a list of foods that you should and shouldn’t eat when you come in for a consultation. Of course, you are restricted to 500 calories a day so you’ll have to be cautious of what you eat. The HCG program will have you eating both lunch and dinner. Your meals should contain one lean protein, a vegetable, a bread and one piece of fruit. There are certain proteins that you can eat but there will be ones you will need to avoid (e.g. salmon).

We will also let you know which vegetables should be enjoyed and which ones to stay away from, as they might be too starchy. You may not use any butter or oil and you must stay away from sugar while on this weight loss program.

Of course, we understand the challenges of going through a calorie strict diet, which is why we are here with you throughout the process. We can answer your questions, calm your concerns and provide you with the treatment you need to help you finally lose that weight all while also providing emotional support.

Do you have questions about the HCG program? Want to find out if you are a good candidate for this Houston, TX, weight loss program? If so, turn to Memorial Weight Loss Clinic today to learn more.

Find out if this diet program could be the answer to finally losing weight.

If you are reading this, then chances are you are looking for an effective way to lose weight. Perhaps you’ve been slaving away at the weight lossgym but just aren’t seeing the results you would want. You’ve turned to a nutritionist or at least some reputable doctor-written articles to help get you on a food plan that you thought would help you lose weight but just haven’t found one that works. If this sounds like you, our Houston, TX, physician, Dr. Babak Rejaie, understands just how frustrating this can be, but this is why we are so very happy to be offering our clients the HCG diet.

What is the HCG diet and how does it work?

If you’ve heard of the hormone HCG, then you are more likely to equate it with pregnant women than anything else. However, this diet consists of this same exact hormone. The hormone is injected daily to help you lose weight. When someone isn’t pregnant, the presence of HCG actually stimulates the release of fat stores in the bloodstream to be used up as energy.

If you’ve read anything about the HCG diet, then you know that it boasts dramatic weight loss. Some patients have even lost a pound in one day. Along with these injections, you will also follow a strict 500-calorie diet intake each day. This might sound nearly impossible, but hear us out. This phase of the diet only lasts a couple of weeks. And when you start to notice the results you’ll find it easier to stick with this diet plan.

After those few weeks are up, you can increase your daily intake of food. Of course, this doesn’t mean that you can go back to eating the way you were prior to your diet. If you needed to lose weight then, your daily caloric intake prior to your diet was probably too high. Of course, our Houston, TX, doctor, Dr. Rejaie, can help you determine what caloric intake will provide your body with the nourishment it needs without gaining the weight back.

If you are interested in learning more about the HCG diet and what it can do for you, then it’s time you turned to Memorial Weight Loss Clinic in Houston, TX, to finally drop those stubborn pounds.

Why should I try physician-supervised weight loss?

Weight loss is often touted as being simple: eat less and exercise more. However, succeeding at this is more complex than it sounds--weight loss and sometimes there are underlying medical conditions placing obstacles in your path.

Physician-supervised weight loss programs at Memorial Weight Loss Clinic in Houston, TX monitor your whole-body health, treat hidden causes of weight gain or obesity, and help you lose weight both successfully and safely. This helps you stay motivated, improves your overall health and increases your chance of long-term success.

Does it work better?

Yes, for most people who have tried to lose a significant amount of weight on their own without getting the results they want. For one, treating medical conditions associated with weight problems will better prepare you to feel strong and healthy as you implement your lifestyle changes.

In addition, people frequently set unrealistic weight loss goals, leading to any of the following outcomes:

  • Quick discouragement
  • A dangerous state of health
  • Relapse within weeks or months

Physician-assisted programs give you a strong physical and mental foundation to set achievable goals and stick to your new habits.

What will it involve?

Psychological and behavior changes: The best advice is useless if you aren’t able to put it into practice. Your physician can help you decide how to implement small, practical changes that add up quickly, saving you from the disappointment of setting the bar too high too fast.

Cardiovascular and hormonal health: Your heart health will be tested to ensure your safety and monitor improvement. You will also be checked and treated for any hormonal diseases or imbalances, such as thyroid conditions, that can make it difficult to lose weight.

Unique nutritional and medical needs: Some people simply need to change the way they cook at home. Others need a complete meal replacement system, and still others will benefit from a combination of these approaches. Nutritional supplements or obesity medications may also be helpful for some patients. Your physician will help you choose the best approach for you and ensure that you don’t wind up under-nourished in the process.

How long will it take?

The length of time varies for each person, but many people can aim to lose a healthy amount of weight in 3-6 months. Following that, you will likely be placed on a maintenance program to ensure your results last, typically for about 18 months.
